Job Purpose:

The English classroom teacher will be responsible for delivering learning in accordance with the curriculum, national guidelines, and the school's strategy. The successful candidate must also carry out other duties that support pupils' learning while operating in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.

Schools Plus are currently recruiting for subject specialist teachers.

This role is open to anyone with experience in teaching English and ideally holds QTS.

Completion of our mandatory in-house tutoring training is required before starting work.

This is an exciting role for any teacher looking to make a difference to a child's life.

As a successful teacher you will possess:
- QTS or equivalent, and have recent experience in teaching.
- Good knowledge of the UK curriculum in ICT.
- Be able to explain key concepts fluently and accurately
- Be prepared to teach face to face
- The ability to work to the scheme of work and provide constructive and effective feedback
- Good time management to fully utilise the sessions.

Essential / Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified teacher status
• Degree level qualification
• Willingness to undertake CPD
• Previous experience working in a school

• Relevant postgraduate professional qualification
• Previous experience working in partnership with parents
