Our client is a leading international engineering organisation. Due to planned growth in their procurement business they are looking to hire a procurement specialist/stores person. This role will be responsible for controlling the central store for part of the business and managing the stock control and stores processes. To fulfil requests relating to supplying spares across the business where required to replenish stock in accordance with agreed Min and Max stock levels. To manage the booking in/booking out of spares, cycle stock counts and manage stock as per agreed process.
Your key responsibilities:
• Replenish the stores taking in to account the needs of the business (type of parts and availability
• Store amounts optimisation (Max & Min levels)
• Assist with setting up Drop box facility
• Goods receipting
• Service order administration for spares booked out
• Stock checks against inventory recorded
• Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Carrying loads in stores
• The role can be physically demanding
• Working in the Stores/Workshop/Offices and Yard areas
• Indicative performance measures / Key interdependencies:
• Accuracy on M3 and Physical of Stores Items
Education / Qualifications
• Previous experience working in a stores or procurement role
• Good communication skills
