Vacancy - Internal Technical Sales Executive / Account Management
Location - North East Hampshire
Industry - Mechanical / Plumbing and Heating / HVAC
Salary - salary from GBP22,000 up to circa GBP27,000 per annum + bonuses depending on skills and experience
Working hours - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Benefits - 25 days holiday + bank holidays / bonus scheme
Rhodium Consulting are recruiting for an internal telephone sales person for this successful and well established business.
The role will involve working in a team of people dealing with pricing enquiries, technical queries and sales orders.
This role is based in the sales office dealing with 90% reactive enquiries coming into the branch so is mainly a customer service / account management role. A small proportion of the role will involve outbound sales calls.
Responsibilities will include:
Handling enquiries with by phone or email
Raising Quotations for customer orders
Customer terms
Progressing queries
Purchase orders
Reactive and proactive telephone sales
Use of computer system including quotations, enquiries, picking notes, back orders
Other Ad hoc duties as required
Skills Required:
Mechanical heating sales experience is essential ideally from a similar merchant such as Smith Brothers or Controls Centre (Wolseley)
Polished communication skills (written and verbal)
Computer literate (inc Microsoft Office)
Enjoys speaking to people on the phone
Personal Qualities Required:
Reliable and conscientious person with a committed working attitude
A hard working team player with excellent customer service experience
A self-motivated person who understands the importance of getting the job done and/or responding to the customer as promised
Efficient and effective
Should be punctual, well presented and like to operate in an organised manner.

A good listener who is keen to learn, develop new skills and "get on" in the business.
Thoughtful and resourceful, someone who enjoys solving problems.
It is essential that you have some recent plumbing / heating industry sales experience.
This could be from an internal sales role or an ambitious trade counter sales person wanting to progress to a telephone sales role. You will have a good understanding of the plumbing and heating industry and be able to communicate with a wide variety of people.
Salary is negotiable up to circa GBP27K + bonuses depending on experience
