Pertemps are currently recruiting for Seasonal Garden Maintenance Staff to support in the West Lothian Area.
Start Date: Immediate start
Length of assignment - Until 31st October 2021
Pay rate: GBP9.34 per hour, paid weekly
Hours; 40 hrs per week Mon-Fri
Location: Bathgate, West Lothian
Responsibilities
As part of a small team you will maintain open spaces within West Lothian undertaking various activities relating to the general maintenance of soft and hard landscaped areas, parks, golf courses, open spaces, woodlands and household gardens. This will include shrub and flowerbed maintenance, grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves and litter and using appropriate plant and equipment. Please note this is an outdoors based role and candidates will be expected to work in all weather conditions.
Candidates are also required to demonstrate an enhanced customer focus whilst undertaking duties and are expected to report matters affecting the appearance of the environment to supervisory staff in a proactive manner.
Experience
* Previous experience of using equipment such as grass cutting machinery and hedge trimmers is essential.
* Excellent communication skills and customer service experience.
* The ability to drive non HGV vehicles is desirable
* Ability to work in all weather conditions
