We are looking for individuals who are happy to work in a picking station accessible by metal steps from the ground to a first floor working area. The waste materials (household waste, plastics, wood, glass, metal) pass along the conveyor belt though the centre of the picking station. Your duties are effectively to man a ‘bin’ within the picking station and guide the waste into the relevant bins.
30 mins for lunch and a 30 minute break in the afternoon.
Personal Protective Equipment Provided: Hard hats, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses, overalls. You will need to provide your own lace up work boots (must have mid-sole and toe protection).
Personal Attributes: Must be able to work as part of a team as you will be working alongside a number of others in the picking station. Good social skills are a must and be comfortable standing for a few hours at a time.
A CSCS card is required to work on this site. The applicant must be at least 18 years old to work on this site.
