Our Client has an immediate requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to come in and work on multi million project in the North East
As the ideal candidate you will have excellent NEC contract administration and change management experience, and have previous railway experience delivering station or depot upgrades.
You will have experience of overseeing direct delivery and subcontract management, with responsibility for financial forecasting and reporting into the Project Director, cost and budget management, change and risk management, team management and ensuring overall profitability for the business.
Project is multidisciplinary including Design, Track, OLE, Signalling and Civils Works and will require someone with relevant experience and Ideally someone who is local to Newcastle.
Key responsibilities:
Implement Commercial Strategy for the project to ensure successful Commercial delivery
Procure and manage Subcontractors
Prepare and submit Client Applications for Payment
Internal and external management reporting
Compile, submit and agree Variations
Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
Contract Administration
liaising with project Planner
Qualifications:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant qualification and experience
