Public Convenience Operative (cleaning)
My local authority client are looking for a Public Convenience Operative to join them on a long term sick cover contract, working Monday 9am - 5.30pm (8 hours) each week, and covering staff holidays/sickness as required, paying GBP8.91 per hour.
You will be responsible for the opening and cleansing, and evening closing of various public conveniences around the Loughborough area.
Duties are varied but will include:
* Opening and closing public conveniences as directed
* Carrying out all cleansing routines including all sanitary ware, mirrors, fittings, adjacent walls, floors and associated items
* Operating cleaning equipment and using cleaning materials as required
* Reporting items of maintenance and/or repairs
* Responding to radio calls from the police/retail shops
You will have previous experience in all aspects of commercial cleaning, knowledge of operating commercial cleaning machinery, and be able to work on your own initiative.
