Software Test Analyst - build on existing automation skills
GBP30,000 - GBP45,000 / Remote (very occasional travel to Guildford, Surrey)
This is a great opportunity for a Software Test Analyst to join a rapidly growing organization, working to ensure a range of software and web based products run smoothly and meet business needs.
There will be a focus on exploratory and automated testing; you certainly don't need to be an expert automation tester, although some experience with Selenium or a similar tool will definitely help.
The role will involve:
* Reviewing requirements, specs and technical documents
* Creating detailed and structured test plans and test cases
* Planning and coordinating test activities
* Designing, developing and executing automation scripts
* Bug tracking and recording
* Regression testing
* Keeping up-to-date with new testing tools
Skills you will need:
* Prior commercial testing experience and knowledge of the SDLC
* Good knowledge of testing methodologies / tools / processes
* Ability to write clear test plans and test cases
* Manual testing experience (web, usability, API, database, device, browser compatibility)
* Knowledge of Agile / Scrum processes
* Some automated experience of a desire to learn
* Any experience with cloud platforms would be really beneficial
The company have taken a remote-first approach to work; they have an office near Guildford, Surrey, although the vast majority of the work can be done remotely - you may need to get into the office once or twice a month.
