Technical Product Manager
Technical Product Manager / Engineering Product Manager required to join a global electronics manufacturer.
The successful Technical Product Manager / Engineering Product Manager will ideally have manufacturing experience and have a solid understanding of new product introduction (NPI) and what bringing a product to market entails.
Candidates looking to progress in to a Product Manager role with some Product Management experience or New Product Introduction (NPI) will be of particular interest.

The Technical Product Manager / Engineering Product Manager Role:
Product Managing electronic products including switchgear, switches, interconnect systems, fuses, connectors, PCBs or similar particularly into industrial markets.
Drive value by building an understanding of customer requirements.
Maintain a competitive advantage by helping to prioritise plant and engineering opportunities including; custom solutions, cost reductions and process improvement opportunities
Manage sales performance through key performance indicators.
Lead the product launch process for the assigned product lines.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
The Technical Product Manager / Engineering Product Manager Requirements:
Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager / Engineering Product Manager / Product Manager / Design Engineer or similar in manufacturing.
Product management experience, or a solid understanding of technical electronic products.
Candidates looking to progress in to a Product Manager role with some Product Management experience or New Product Introduction (NPI) will be of particular interest.
Knowledge of electronic products such as switchgear, switches, interconnect systems, fuses, connectors, PCBs or similar is essential.
Product Management experience - preferably 2+ years with a sound understanding of new product introduction (NPI) and what bringing a product to the market entails.
A technical / electronics / electrical / commercial /engineering qualification.
Commutable to Leicester or willing to re locate.
Full UK driving license
