Overley Hall Children's Home near Wellington is a small, family owned, home for young people with autism and learning disabilities. Overley operates very high standards to ensure the children placed with us receive a service which is compassionate, and person-centred, providing the therapeutic care to nurture and support them. Our aim is to allow the children to fulfil their personal potential enabling them to thrive in their lives.
We are looking to recruit a DECORATOR to join our busy workforce at the idyllic Overley Estate. You will be part of a very active and responsive team dedicated to making the children's stay with us a great life experience whilst keeping them comfortable and safe, and giving their family the added assurance that placing their child at Overley was the right one.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Proprietor, Bursar and Business Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES: To ensure the buildings and grounds at Overley Hall Ltd are maintained to a satisfactory standard.
LOCATION: Buildings and Grounds
JOB SUMMARY
1. To carryout regular decorating of the company premises to a high standard.
2. To ensure that all maintenance equipment and supplies i.e. paint is stored safely at all times and the end of each day.
3. To ensure that all work practices are in line with current Health and Safety regulations and take into account the complex needs of our young people.
4. To carry out some maintenance tasks in the maintenance book, this will include repairs for the Woodlands, School, Lodge and Station House when necessary.
5. To carry out general plumbing duties i.e. un-blocking toilets.
6. Too carryout refurbishment work in line with the Development plan, liaising with the Bursar.
7. To assist the Bursar in ordering of supplies for work to be undertaken, obtaining prices so a Purchase Order Form can be completed along with maintaining stock levels of supplies to ease flow of work.
8. To report any materials you suspect to be asbestos.
9. To carry out the decorating duties within any property belonging to the company.
10. To ensure that all decorating supplies and chemicals are stored in accordance with Overley Hall Ltd COSHH regulations.
11. To assist the Bursar in compiling COSHH safety data sheet file for all chemical products used at Overley Hall Ltd.
12. To liase with the Maintenance team to arrange cover of tasks during holiday times.
13. To check daily if any light bulbs need replacing.
14. To check daily if any curtains need re-hanging.
15. To perform any other duties reasonably requested to ensure the smooth running of Overley Hall Ltd
