Protocol Education are supporting an academy based in Grimsby, Lincs who are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate History Teacher to join their team on a short-term or long-term basis. We are looking for individuals that know the curriculum and have the drive to take an already successful department to the next level.

The fully inclusive academy is on a journey to achieve outstanding status and pride themselves on being a small academy that care greatly about every student.
All members of staff are committed to providing the very best of education for students of all abilities and stand firmly by their high standards and expectations to ensure the best outcomes in Year 11 with specialist, highly qualified teachers in every subject.
The academy boasts two full sized swimming pools, gym and sports hall, engineering facilities, Art Studio and theatre.

This is an excellent opportunity for all Secondary Qualified Teachers, including NQTs.

The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher and be enthusiastic and committed to teaching the students so that they acquire a deep, long-term, secure and adaptable understanding of the subject.

The successful applicant will ideally:

Have teaching experience of Key stage 3 and 4
Have a good understanding of the current educational developments, especially those relating to classroom based practice
Have the highest expectations of students
Have an enthusiastic and positive approach within and beyond the classroom

As a successful Teacher with Protocol Education, you will need to:

Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) with a PGCE, GTP, Bachelor of Education (BAEd.), QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification OR a Teaching Assistant/SEND qualification
Be passionate about teaching and education
Have a creative approach to teaching
Be flexible, reliable and adaptable
Have good behaviour managements skills
Excellent communication and lesson delivery skills
A good work ethic.
