The Role
Joining us at our Manchester branch, the Supervisor will support the Regional Manager of the UK Wholesale branch in ascertaining the highest standards of business performance. Continuously developing a safe working attitude amongst employees, you will work with the Regional Manager to improve business with current customers and ensure that the branch is run within the costs budget.
Supporting other sites as and when required, you will ensure branch processes such as stock takes and holiday plans are maintained and understood to avoid any unnecessary expense within the business and lost sales.
This is an exceptionally varied role which also includes elements of warehousing, driving and general office duties. Receiving deliveries into branch and putting stock away into the correct location, you will pick customers orders and load relevant vehicles in accordance with delivery schedules. You will also occasionally be required to deliver glass to the intended location in a safe and timely manner.
Undertaking and maintaining good housekeeping, you will complete quality control and perform stock takes as and when required. The Branch Supervisor will also deal with customer enquiries and customer orders and assist the Customer Service team when required.
The Person
An experienced Supervisor, the successful candidate will have the ability to drive progress and overcome barriers to deliver results. With good IT skills including the use of Outlook, Word and Excel, you will have strong excellent attention to detail and be highly rational and a constructive problem solver. You will have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and have strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills, as well as good interpersonal skills allowing you to interact well at all levels of the business. A full driving licence is essential, as is strong knowledge of SAP.
Good knowledge of the automotive industry and products would be advantageous.

Salary & Benefits
- Working hours are 42 hours per week
- Salary is £23,018 starting, £24,624 p/annum following successful probationary period
- 20 days holiday per annum plus declared public holidays, increasing by 1 every year up to 25 days
