Our client, a fantastic workplace solutions business in Bognor Regis is looking for a friendly, hardworking Administrator to join their established close-knit team. The team of 8 has been established a long time and finding someone to join the "family" they have in the business. Some of the staff have been their over 20 years and people tend to stick when they start!
Responsibilities include.
* Answering all telephone calls into the office, quickly and efficiently, to include answering telephones on neighbouring desks if "unmanned".
* Directing calls internally/taking accurate and detailed messages.
* Receiving, logging, and accurately recording deliveries (This will require unpacking of deliveries and some manual handling).
* Booking and scheduling site visits via phone/email and updating systems/database as requested by team members.
* Logging, processing and setting up new works including creation of site files and adding to schedule.
* Closing contracts/works in line with procedures. Preparing site files and paperwork for engineers Collating and preparing equipment/paperwork for engineers
* Post both incoming and outgoing
* Placing orders stationery, equipment, and sundries.
* Assisting in updating and chasing engineer's paperwork.
* Filing both electronic and paper Supporting all staff members as required including making drinks, clearing shredding, ensuring desks are kept clear and the office space is neat.
* General office maintenance i.e., emptying of bins, maintaining a clear and tidy stock room, ensuring the meeting room is clear and neat at all times
Skills required:
* Able to work in and adapt to a fast paced and growing environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills Have a flexible attitude, be approachable, enthusiastic and willing to learn Strong IT skill set
* Previous experience using Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to carry out manual handling where required
The successful candidate will need to be a team player, have a flexible attitude, be self-motivated, accurate, methodical, and reliable. You will be required to work in the office for this position.
