Finance & Payroll Manager
GBP26,000-GBP28,000
We are currently recruiting a Finance & Payroll Manager to work in this small friendly School Finance team. You will be an integral part of this Finance team, monitoring and managing all aspects of the finance function, including processing monthly payroll.
Main responsibilities of this Finance & Payroll Manager role include:
Processing monthly payroll
Maintaining accurate personnel records
HR administration - preparing contracts, inductions, appraisals
Financial Administration -Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
General Accounts management
Support month end and year end accounting procedures
Strategic planning and management of budgets
Assisting with funding applications and grants
Financial analysis and reporting of accounts
Ensure all audit and self assessment requirements are met
Ensure all billing is accurately processed
Oversee the Finance Assistant and support the School BursarSkills and experience we are looking for:
An experienced Accounts and Finance Professional
Previous Payroll experience is essential
Experience of managing large budgets
Excellent IT and Excel skills
Honesty, integrity and discretion
Excellent communication skills
A high level of numeracy skills with
The ability to produce, analyse and explain complex accounting reportsBenefits include: free parking and lunches.
