The credit control team is made up of two full time and one part time team members, managed by the Financial Controller. This 12-month fixed term role will be to cover Maternity leave for one of the full time team members, whose credit control responsibilities align to the Distribution sales division. There will also be an expectation to support and assist other members of the team during busy times and holidays.
Key responsibilities include:
* Posting all debtor cash
* Sending out customer invoices
* Chasing outstanding payments
* Processing customer credit notes
* Creation of new customer accounts
* Processing credit card payments
* Updating Commentary for Monthly Housekeeping Reports
* Liaising with Credit Insurer and managing credit limit reporting
* Completion of the Month End Sales Ledger Checks and liaising the relevant business units
* Completion of all Month End Reports and any additional reporting requirements
* Completion and distribution of the weekly Distribution Report and attendance to the weekly Distribution Meeting
As with all personnel within the business, the individual will also be required to show:
* A commitment to comply with the Company's Information Security Policy
* A commitment to promptly report any security weaknesses or incidents
* A commitment to adopt and maintain a Health and Safety culture within the Group
