Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturing company in the recruitment of an HR Administrator to support their busy HR team.

This is a varied role in a demanding environment, assisting the HR Advisor in all aspects of ER and absence administration and providing support in implementing the site wellbeing strategy and initiatives.

Duties will include the following:

* Daily administering of company sickness register

* Timely monitoring & processing of return to work interviews

* Timely processing of Fit notes and Self Certifications

* Timely and accurate administration and coordination of absence meetings including letters to colleagues

* Assisting with meeting minutes

* Managing colleagues through the AWOL process

* Processing of Annual Nights/FLT Medical Surveillance Forms

* Managing Occupational Health appointments, invites and referrals

* Complete invitation and outcome letters for Welfare, Disciplinary, Grievance and Appeal hearings

* Assist in planning and coordinating staff health and wellbeing activities in line with current sickness trending and the Company's ethical framework.

* Maintaining accurate and up to date employee sickness files.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced busy HR function, be able to multi-task and prioritise their workload and have excellent organisation and communication skills. Applicants must have or be working towards CIPD level 3 and knowledge of current employment law and HR legislation. Experience working with time and attendance systems and HR software is highly advantageous.

Hours of work are 37?? hours per week 8.30am-4.30pm however flexibility around working hours is required.
