Our client is currently looking for Production Operatives and Deep Clean Hygiene Operatives to work within a manufacturing environment located in Shoreham-By-Sea, West Sussex. Duties will include labelling, inspection, operating machinery / equipment, picking and packaging products ready for despatch.
To manufacture products to the required quality standards and record data as determined by the relevant quality standards or specifications. Frequent handling of cleaning chemicals, following COSHH training given, whilst wearing appropriate company issue Personal protective equipment (PPE).
Cleaning Manufacturing equipment, by dismantling the equipment to get access to all parts & reassembling correctly at the end of the clean in a timely fashion following training given.
Other Duties will involve: Able to lift heavy objects. A good standard of both verbal and written English. Ability to work alone under own initiative, in a fast-paced environment. Able to be active and on your feet for long periods of time. Ability to communicate with other team members at various levels.
Ability to prioritise workload. To follow important Health & Safety procedures and guidelines which are in place. Induction and training will be provided on site.
There will also be opportunities for a permanent contract for the right candidates.
Night Shift Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 10.00pm - 6.30am (40 hours a week)
GBP11.22 per hour + Holiday Pay
