Senior Quantity Surveyor - Major Power projects
* Are you based near Reading?
* Do you have experience with NEC3 projects?
* Are you able to commercially manage schemes with minimal supervision?
A respected Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor is looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors to join their team to work on major projects within Power valued at up to GBP20m covering Overhead Lines, New Build Substations, Switchgear schemes.
Responsibilities will include:
* Management & monitorting of commercial aspects of the contract;
* Mentoring and management of Assistant QS's/Commercial Admins;
* Building relationships with clients and other key stakeholders;
* Managing opportunities and risks
* Weekly & monthly cost value reconciliations;
* Assisting with valuations, and subcontractor management.
They are able to offer an excellent salary & package for this role as well as opportunities for further progression within the company.
Essential:
* Degree qualified or equivalent
* Experience within Utilities or Civil Engineering
