Mechanical Project Engineer - M&E / Power Generation / Power Distribution / Oil & Gas experience!
Due to expansion and growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Project Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

AVK specialise in all aspects of the design, planning, implementation and on-going maintenance of critical power systems. We provide solutions for standard or bespoke applications, with UPS systems ranging in size from 1kVA to 1.6MVA to standby diesel generation ranging in size from 5kW up to 4MVA and covering all project sizes from GBP1k up to GBP30m. As a Mechanical Design Project Engineer, you will provide up front technical support to the sales department on the specification and design of Generator/UPS systems. Assisting in the preparation of technical proposals. Focussing on mechanical packages. You will be required to develop design documentation in line with project requirements and timescales.
As the suitable candidate you will need to have an HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with up to 5 years' experience working on mechanical projects as a Mechanical Designer and or Mechanical Projects Engineer.
This position requires frequent travel to client sites and supplier premises throughout the UK mainly London and surrounding area and some overseas. In return we offer exciting prospects, a generous benefits package including BUPA.
