Are you a driven health & safety professional interested in working for a growing family business? Would you like opportunity to work across different environments where no two days are the same?
Due to ongoing growth, we have a requirement for a Health and Safety Advisor to provide support and expertise to existing SHEQ department.
Working closely with SHEQ Manager, you will play a pivotal role in championing the health and safety agenda and ensuring the health and safety of colleagues is top priority.
This is a newly-created role and one where you will be given platform to truly make an impact in a thriving organisation - it is a unique opportunity that will suit a self-motivated, passionate, and energetic individual.
Typical tasks will include:
* Assist with incident reporting process; undertake investigations and report the outcomes where necessary
* Conduct regular health and safety inspections
* Ongoing risk assessment actions
* Analyse trends across the business and use results to drive improvement
* Conduct periodic audits and reviews, and ensuring procedures are followed
What you'll need:
* NEBOSH qualification or similar
* Previous health and safety experience in challenging environment e.g. manufacturing, waste, heavy plant, construction.
* Excellent communicator and relationship builder
* Full driving licence
