Instrument Assembly Fitter

Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit an Instrument Assembly Technician to join our leading client based in York on a permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity to join a globally recognised business in their field and help to advance the business further during this period of growth.
The successful candidate will be required to assemble intricate precision components therfore previous experinece of working to tight tolerances (2 Microns) is a must. Experience in a clean room environment would also be highly advantageous
Hours - Monday - Friday 9AM - 530PM
Role Description
* Assemble high precision manufactured parts across a range of products.
* Bearing assembly and fitting techniques to tolerances of 0.002mm
* Specialised parts cleaning
* Preparing parts for further processing, such as tapping holes, de-burring, polishing, lapping etc.
* Basic electronics and soldering skills
Qualifiactions / Skills
* Time Served Mechanical Engineer
* Experience in assembly of precision components to extremley tight tolerances
* Expereince of working within a clean room environment ( Advantageous)
