You will be part of a successful team in this industry leading company and as a Garden Designer you have a pivotal role in the ongoing success of the organisation and the creation of award-winning Garden Landscapes. The company specialise in garden projects that incorporate Outdoor Living and Cooking areas, and the sale of products associated with these functions are an important part of their revenue.
The Job:
You will design the potentially award-winning show garden that every client wants! Starting from the client brief you will work on every stage of the Garden project from site visits and assisting with surveys through the creation of concept ideas to creating visuals and Plans using Sketchup or Vector Works. You will be closely involved in the costing and budgeting of each project and provide advice in respect to the Planting Plans. You will a key element in the communication of the project fundamentals to the client, suppliers and the construction team.
The Person:
You will be a Landscape / Garden Designer with good Horticultural knowledge and experience in Planting Schemes and Planting Plans. You will have an understanding of current Garden Design and Landscape design trends together with excellent verbal skills and the ability to effectively communicate your ideas. You will have an eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines.
You will have:
* A Degree or other suitable qualification in Garden or Landscape Design
* Some experience in Garden Landscaping.
* Driving License
Salary GBP26,000 to GBP28,000 + Bonus
