We are looking for a Volunteer Development Co-ordinator to join our Volunteer Development team. You will be providing support to the Volunteering Development Team who support volunteers and volunteer managers across the RNLI.

Your Role

As a Volunteer Development Co-ordinator, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:

- Supporting the Volunteering Development Team in developing improvements for all stages of the volunteer lifecycle, including assisting with project work to support implementation of the Volunteering Strategy
- Assisting in the development and review of volunteer management toolkits and resources
- Supporting with managing and developing the volunteering pages on our digital platforms
- Co-ordinating creative briefs on behalf of the team, including proofing of new resources
- Being the point of contact between the Volunteering Development Team and People Services Admin Team, answering queries and assisting with improving processes as required
- Managing volunteers in the team where appropriate

About You

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a customer focused approach and be able to plan, prioritise and organise workload efficiently including working under pressure to deadlines. You should enjoy juggling multiple priorities and be skilled at working cooperatively and collaboratively with others.

To be considered as the Volunteer Development Co-ordinator you will need:

- Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- A sound understanding of volunteering best practice
- Experience of project management

Due to current circumstances you may be working from home when your role commences. You will be given the correct equipment you need to perform in your role. You will also receive support from your manager and colleagues to ensure a smooth and consistent induction process is delivered. You may also be required to work from your dedicated RNLI asset once the government guidelines change.
