We have a great opportunity for a Store person to join a busy engineering company near Kettering. Paying a salary of GBP26,000 to GBP30,000.
A Storeman/store person for this company will be responsible for -
Carrying out regular stock checks and keeping the companies computer management system (MRP) fully updated
Booking parts in and out of stock.
Picking parts for works orders and advising on shortages when the arise.
Inspection and receiving of all incoming goods and materials.
To contact suppliers (in conjunction with the Purchaser) to expedite purchase orders which are imminent or overdue.
Follow Health & Safety at Work Act to make sure compressed air and flammable materials are stored safely.
To ensure that all all goods, including in-process materials, are correctly labelled and stored as set out in the Quality Procedures.
The Store person for this company will need a valid UK driving licence. They will need be a team player who is happy and willing to assist in other areas and perform non-storekeeping activities in a fast paced environment.
