Location: Home Based / Remote Working (Offices based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire)

Salary: GBP34,000 - GBP38,000 per annum plus benefits

Our client is part of the wider global family and is one of the leading LPG distributors, operating in 17 European countries.

The position

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an IT Systems Analyst to join their newly created Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team providing 1st and 2nd line support to their recently implemented Finance system, JD Edwards. The ERP team consists of two System Analysts, an IT ERP Application Manager and is overseen by our client's IT ERP Program Manager.

Key responsibilities:

Your day to day duties will include:

*

You'll act as the main point of contact between the JD Edwards community, both in the UK and throughout Europe. Responsible for all technical change requests

*

Perform program configuration/ modification for JD Edwards

*

Conducting research and analysis into the nature, effect, and results of systems problems, including root cause analysis.

*

Managing and prioritising support calls and tickets

*

Developing, managing and maintaining JD Edwards technical documentation

*

Performing testing of system modifications

What our client is looking for?

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

*

Experience of providing support to a number of multiple business areas, ideally with International exposure.

*

The ability to speak other European languages would also be a great advantage, although not essential.

*

Understanding of ITIL and other service management standards

*

Systems administration, application development lifecycle and change management knowledge

*

Experience of coordinating testing activities

*

Knowledge of JD Edwards is advantageous

*

Competent IT User with excellent Microsoft Office skills.

*

Strong teaching and mentoring skills

*

Excellent time management with the ability to manage conflicting priorities

*

Analytical thinking with good data analysis skills
