The candidate will be supporting the shift leader on the CNC Turning section and will cover as Shift leader for holidays. Primary function will be to set and operate the 5 axis CNC grinders, when not running on fully automated cycle. Previous experience in Cutter Grinder Tooling would be an advantage
Setting, programming and operating 5 axis CNC Grinder
Holiday Cover for Shifts (as and when required)
Setting CNC turning machines for operators (holiday cover)
Operating Automated CNC Turning machines (holiday cover)
Experience:
Ideally have minimum 2yrs experience with programming and setting 5 Axis CNC Grinding or Milling M/c
Ideally have minimum 2yrs experience programming Fanuc control systems
Hours - standard hours 08.00-16.30 Mon-Fri (40hrs)
Shift/Holiday cover - either 6-2 and 2-10 where necessary
Rate GBP12.85p/h standard hours + shift allowance (where appropriate)
