We have a great 12-month fixed term opportunity for an experienced Office Administrator with reception skills. An interesting and diverse role reporting to the Regional Office Manager.

The Role


* managing incoming calls, taking messages, maintaining and updating the call log;

* opening, sorting, date stamping and distributing post to the appropriate points of contact

* within the business; and

* meeting and greeting visitors, preparing meeting rooms and refreshments in line with

* COVID-19 requirements.


* word processing, photocopying, filing and petty cash;

* updating drawing registers and printing drawings as and when as required;

* creating, distributing and archiving site packs;

* stock control and reordering of office stationery, Company branded clothing, IT equipment etc.;

* logging, distributing and re-ordering order books | plant order books;

* assisting with new employee onboarding;

* providing travel updates;

* ensuring the correct certification is displayed e.g., ISO, Insurance, HSE etc.;

* responsible for arranging service maintenance

* Securing office during out of hours.

* To ensure the efficient running of the business to undertake any other duties

The Person:

* Excellent communication skills with a friendly, respectful and professional approach.

* Well organisational with a good attention to detail, with a continuous improvement mindset.

The Experience

* 2+ years' experience in an office environment preferably within the construction sector with some

* previous receptionist experience.

* Educated to GCSE level or with a grade C or above in English or equivalent. A qualification in

* customer service or business and administration would be preferable.

* Strong MS Office skills are essential.

* Full driving licence and access to a car
