Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a Junior Sales Administrator to join our team at our office in Norwich on a full-time basis.

The Benefits

- Salary of £18,000 with scope to increase depending on experience and detailed knowledge of the industry
- Rewarding and inclusive work environment
- Career progression opportunities

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with Microsoft Office based administration experience looking to expand their IT sector experience with a growing, well-established company.

This is an exciting entry level position with plenty of opportunities for growth and professional development in the future. As a company, we are actively promoting our Cyber security solutions as the sector has a lot of growth potential. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of taking Cyber Security to market, which is an area that currently lacks experienced talent.

We will encourage you to grow and develop your skill set in this area and will provide you with on-the-job training, mentoring, as well as the chance to shadow senior members of the team.

What’s more, there may be potential opportunities to attend external courses, conferences and industry events to help you develop your product and industry knowledge.

As your knowledge of the industry grows, so will your responsibilities and you’ll have the chance to handle increasingly complex technical queries and source and close your own deals and opportunities.

Ultimately, with the skills, experience and knowledge you develop there may be the opportunity to move into a senior sales role within the company, working with commercial clients to help them find the right technological hardware and software products to suit their business needs.

The Role

As a Junior Sales Administrator, you will support the sales team to provide a seamless delivery of professional IT services.

You will develop an understanding of customers’ specific and varied business needs and knowledge of the products that we use. Using this, you will answer customer and supplier queries via telephone and email.

Additionally, in this role you will:

- Assist the sales team with order processing and renewals
- Assist the senior sales team in meeting their targets
- Liaise with other teams within the company to support projects and resolve queries
- Manage your workload in order to organise and prioritise daily and weekly goals
- Develop detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features
- Log customer issues on our ticketing platform, ensuring key details are recorded
- Undertake general office administration tasks

About You

To join us as a Junior Sales Administrator, you will need:

- An awareness of Business-to-Business IT Support services
- Self-motivation and a competitive, results-driven attitude
- Time-management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
- Articulate, persuasive and influential verbal communication skills
- A professional telephone manner
- Administration experience
- Experience of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications). Industry experience can reduce the education requirements for this role should it be applicable
- A full, clean driving licence

Experience in a customer service or sales environment would be beneficial to your application. Previous sales experience, including working in a call centre or telemarketing role where sales skills and the ability to meet targets are illustrated, would also be advantageous.

A good level of technical understanding, with enthusiasm for new technology and its commercial uses, would be beneficial.

Other organisations may call this role Trainee Sales Administrator, Sales Assistant, Sales Co-ordinator, Sales Administrator, Sales Support Assistant, Sales Support Co-ordinator, Junior MSP Sales or Junior Sales Admin.

This is a full-time role working from 9am until 5pm, five days per week.
