Working in conjunction with West Mercia Police we are recruiting for a couple of Police Staff Investigators in Worcestershire for Supervisory roles role on an initial 6 month contract basis.
As a suitable candidate you will supervise the work of investigators conducting lines of inquiry, supporting the delivery of Major Crime Investigation and Critical incident Service ensuring that organisational standards are upheld.
The main responsibilities for the role include
- Undertake the daily supervision of DC's and Police Staff engaged on Operation Lincoln
- To provide advise to investigators engaged on major investigations around their personal responsibilities
- To provide clear direction to staff to ensure that objectives set by SIO and Holmes Manager are met
- To prepare and supervise evidential files to the highest standards
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- PIP2 Accredited or similar
- An understanding of MIRSAP
- Holmes trained
- Significant experience of complex and serious crime investigations
- Experience of working in Major Incident Rooms
- Previous experience of managing and supervising staff
- Strong communication skills
- Good IT Skills
The starting salary for this position will be GBP32, 673
