Housing Officer (Leeds)

Hours: 40 per week - Mondays to Fridays (8.30am to 4.30pm)
Salary: GBP22,800 (FULL-TIME)

Valid driving licence - Full UK driving licence

Housing Officer Skills Required:

* Must be able to adapt working with a variety of tenants from different backgrounds

* Good communication skills as will be working with government departments

* Administration experience.

* IT skills including knowledge of outlook, excel, word.

* Excellence skills

* Customer Services skills

* Knowledge in housing/tenancy management (desirable)

Housing Officer Responsibilities:

* Dealing with tenants on a daily basis

* Dealing with repair enquiries

* Dealing rent payments

* Taking enquiries and booking in viewing appointments.

* Draw up all tenancy documentation and ensure that they are completed in a timely manner.

* Dealing with various departments such as DWP, Housing Benefit, Universal Credit etc.

* General lettings administration.

* Inspection and supervision of project works.

* Property/Void inspection

* Property viewings

* Warehouse/Stock management

* Investigation/dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour issues.

* General office duties including answering the telephone, responding to emails, scanning, photocopying, taking messages and other duties etc.
