Trainee Accountant - Perm Role

Our client based in Tonbridge specialising in the sale and maintenance of large agricultural vehicles is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team.
The role would suit a candidate who is starting their AAT qualification and has strong all round knowledge of all accounts process in purchase ledger, sales ledger prep of accounts to trial balance, preparation of bank reconciliations and support the accountant with the monthly management accounts.
The successful candidate will be starting their AAT qualification and be motivated to join an exciting organisation and want to grow with the company.
Duties:
Purchase Ledger
Printing/downloading Supplier's Invoices
Entering Supplier's Invoices/Credit Notes on Sage
Reconciling Suppliers' Statements
Assisting with monthly payment run (Mid-month and end-month)
Allocating payments/sending remittances
Sales Ledger
Setting up new customers/projects on Sage
Raising Invoices
Allocating payments
Setting up new Arch Files/Archiving older Invoices
Ad hoc duties
Skills:
Very good numerical skills
Starting AAT Qualification
Highly organised
Intermediate Excel
