Production Director & Workflow Manager

Reach plc's Magazines Hub is looking for a Production Director & Workflow Manager who will lead a team (currently 16) . In this exciting role you will manage the recently restructured production department for our Celebrity Magazines & Supplements Hub.

We are looking for an experienced candidate who can lead a team of sub-editors to ensure our print deadlines are met and within budget.

This position will be home based with a link to our London, Canary Wharf office.

What will the role involve?

• Deliver excellent quality journalism across all print titles in the Celebrity Magazines & Supplements Hub, ensuring content sharing runs smoothly and to best effect.
• Maintain and communicate clear brand identities for all titles, keeping subbing relevant to the reader.
• Embrace change and develop new working practices for the team to ensure effective content sharing among titles and excellent production workflow.

Who are we looking for?

Previous experience as an editorial executive with production background in a fast-paced newsroom or magazine.Previous experience of directly leading and managing a production team.Previous experience of successfully managing a budget.Excellent contacts within the industry.
