Amour Recruitment is seeking an experience Payroll Analyst to work for our client based near Southampton on a maternity contract initially with a chance of being permanent.
This role will be responsible for providing a proactive confidential administrative and support service to the HR team. Specific responsibilities will include the following: -
• Ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time
• Ensure that the various monthly Pension reports are complete on time and submitted to the third part administrators
• Administer the Employee Share scheme
• Support the annual salary review process by preparation of spreadsheets and processing of salary increases
• Undertake end of year payroll reporting including P11d and issue of P60
• Update Company car information on the payroll and submit changes to HMRC
• Process Company car driver mileage returns and complete annual reconciliation
• Respond promptly and accurately to requests for information from Line Managers, employees, or external service providers/organisations.
• Respond to mortgage references and ensure that HR/payroll filing is maintained
• Provide reports, statistics and employee data as required
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of payroll systems and processes and be able to demonstrate sound reconciliation, analytical and numeracy skills to support month end reporting.
In addition, a sound knowledge and proven skills in the use of Word, Excel (to include pivot tables and V-lookup) will be necessary.
Ideally you will come from a manufacturing background and have done payroll for minimum of 500 employees.
This role is part-time (25-28 hours ideally) but can sonsider fulltime. They can be flexible around the successful candidate.
