OATS Recruitment is looking for HGV Class 2 drivers to work on a temporary to permanent basis for their client based in Middlesbrough.
Your duties will include delivering food and drink to retail shops on cages and unloading the stock at destination. For the first 2 weeks you will have a drivers mate to assist you, then after your training you will be delivering the stock alone. drivers will be trained up on how to take card payments off some of their customers on delivery.
This is a full time, weekly salaried position, 42.5 hours per week working Monday - Friday
Hours: 06:00am - 15:00pm
For the first 9 weeks you will work through our agency, then work for our client on a permanent basis.
For the first 9 weeks you will be paid GBP11.30 per hour through a reputable umbrella company we use(PAYE rates are available) then after the 9 weeks you will be salaried at GBP10.66 per hour(PAYE) plus you will be included in our clients annual profit share scheme and sales bonus.
Requirements
• You must have a good understanding of tachograph rules and regulations.
• You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service
• Any experience of warehousing and distribution would be desirable.
• Comfortable with the physical handball deliveries and not just the driving side of the role.
• Candidates must be CPC qualified and must not have more than 6 points on their license to be considered for the role.
