A Management Accountant is required to join a well established and recognised business within the Humber region. EK Financial Recruitment are currently working on a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant within a national contact centre business to join on a contract basis to play a pivotal part in several projects. This is a very exciting role for an ambitious Management Accountant who is seeking their next key appointment within a fast paced environment.
Opportunity
As the Management Accountant you will report directly to the Head of Finance and play a key part of the finance team.
As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:
* Maintaining, updating and improving the Sage 200 System
* Preparing and management of the Month End Process, producing a month end trail balance
* Calculating and posting journals
* Key analysis for internal departments
* Supporting and monitoring the sales order process
* Monitoring Purchase ledger balances
* Ensuring sales order/invoices inputted onto Sage 200 correctly
* Key reconciliations and posting of bank transactions
* Preparing and management of the day-to-day financial information
* Weekly reporting and monthly management accounts
* Monitoring of future projected costs versus forecasts
* Assisting with the Commercial Finance and Business operational teams on various projects and tasks
Person
The ideal candidate will have similar experience of producing a month end trail balance and draft P&L for reporting. You will be studying towards your Accounting qualifications and have experience working on accounting software, ideally Sage 200. The successful Management Accountant will be confident, approachable and have strong communication skills, you will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
