Class 2 HGV Driver

Class 2 Driver, Avonmouth, Bristol

Resolve Recruitment is working with the UK's leading independent steel stockholder delivering steel to commercial customers, they are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their team in Avonmouth on a temp to perm basis.

The Person;

25 years of age or over
At least 6 months Class 2 experience
Must know how to strap a load
No motor offenses or convictions
Must hold a valid CPC, Digi Card, and minimum of a Cat C on your licenseThe Job;

Keeping your vehicle clean and tidy
Can be long days with a lot of mileage logged
M-F
No bank holiday or weekends
Must be comfortable dealing with steel
Ensuring proof of delivery documents are signed, dated, and returned
Check the load security and weight distribution according to the latest safe working practices at the start and end of each shiftThe Rewards;

Salary is GBP25,000 based on a 45-hour week
Overtime available after 45 hours at a time a third
All benefits are once in the permanent position
