Moxie People is supporting a truly people-focused Housing Association in South Wales to recruit an interim Finance Officer to start in June 2021 on an initial 6-month temporary contract.

Finance Officer - Role Details:
* GBP34,946.54 per annum (PAYE: GBP21.90 p/hour inclusive of holiday pay)
* Home-based due to COVID / Head office in Rhondda Cynon Taff
* 35 Hours per week (Monday to Friday)
* Flexitime - allowing you to work your hours around your personal and family commitments
* 6-month temporary contract
* Interview date: Late May 2021
* Start date: June 2021
As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Preparing quarterly management accounts including income and expenditure account, capital account, balance sheet and narrative.
* Preparing the Care & Repair annual budget and submission to Welsh Government.
* Preparing the Care & Repair quarterly grant applications and supporting documentation for Welsh Government.
* Provide financial information required for preparation of the Group's annual accounts in readiness of the statutory audit for the Group.
* Provide Treasury Management support to the Director
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Relevant and proven finance and accounting experience in the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and financial business planning.
* An Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), an equivalent qualification or be able to demonstrate relevant experience.
* Knowledge and understanding of accounting practices
* Knowledge and understanding of principles of a Co-operative and Community Benefit Society
