Payroll Bureau Manager
Kenton Black Finance are delighted to represent this leading successful accountancy practice in the Cheshire area, who are seeking to appoint a capable, dynamic Payroll Bureau Manager to lead the payroll department.
Key Responsibilities of this exceptional opportunity include but are not limited to:
- Managing a small busy payroll team
- Payroll processing end to end for both weekly & monthly payrolls across multi-locations
- BACS payments
- Auto enrolment pension processing
- RTI filing
- Extensive client liaison, dealing with queries and providing services advice
-- Software knowledge of IRIS/Star (desirable)
Person Specification
Excellent communication skills dealing with clients on a daily basis confidently with a friendly manner
Payroll processing end to end (monthly & weekly payrolls)
Flexible approach to work
Ideally experience of medical/education industry payroll/pensions (not essential)
Proactive and innovative approach to resolving queries
Previous team management/supervision experience within a similar role.
The successful candidate will possess strong Payroll Bureau Practice expertise running both weekly and monthly payrolls from end to end, pension processing, together with previous managerial experience, managing a small payroll team. In addition, will possess a friendly and confident telephone manner, able to deal with client enquiries/queries effectively thereby creating a positive lasting first impression.
Salary: GBP40K - GBP45K Negotiable dependent on experience with excellent benefits including flexible working!
