Our client is looking to recruit a Commercial Finance & Pricing Analyst, this is a newly created role in support of the delivery of enhanced commercial and pricing analysis. This role offers great exposure to influence enhanced governance and reporting in order to maximise business success. Develop, own and drive robust commercial analysis and reporting
Prepare Board reports, coupled with detailed analysis on any hot topics
Support & oversee the preparation of Partnership reporting
Prepare Monthly Commercial reporting for use both within team & at ExCo, to include status tracking & update of key initiatives
Prepare Pricing Committee deck as well as lead the ongoing monitoring, reporting and analysis of
Pricing and margin trends and drivers

Lead implementation and ongoing provision of formal pricing routines
Ownership and administration of business stream pricing models
Annual Rate Cards reviews
Ongoing pricing analysis and reporting
Drive general Vendor & Intermediary Reporting, calling out specific insights into proposal flows / acceptance rate issues / conversion levers etc
Monitor individual performance of the Commercial team
Liaise with business stakeholders to develop plans to maximise margin and mitigate pricing risk
Lead the development of bespoke deal pricing and pipeline monitoring
Lead annual product and fees review
Support business planning cycles from commercial and pricing perspective
Manage workload and development to junior analyst (graduate)

Skills and Qualifications

Vast analytics and pricing experience
SQL and Tableau skills
Advanced excel skills and abilities
Financial services experience
Demonstrates high attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Ability to work under own initiative, multitasking and reprioritising throughout the day, effectively managing conflicting priorities
