The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for managing the purchase ledger function with two direct reports and will report to the Financial Controller.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Management of purchase ledger staff
* Work collaboratively with the procurement department and ensure adherence to procurement policies
* Work collaboratively with the accounts and FP&A departments to ensure accurate purchase ledger accruals
* Ensure robust purchasing and expenditure controls are maintained throughout the organisation in accordance with corporate expenditure and approval policies.
* Conduct training and education of accounts payable system users throughout the organisation to reinforce policies and process.
* Maintain and continuously improve the 1st line Risk & Control Self-Assessment processes within the department.
* Seek to drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures
* Perform ad hoc tasks as required
* Adhere to the FCA conduct rules
