The Asset Management Team Leader is responsible for leading the Asset Management Administration team and the management and allocation of workloads as well as oversight of the day-to-day interactions with the Moneybarn Recovery Agent panel.
The Asset Management Team Leader will be expected to act as a role model for the Asset Administration Team, providing support and guidance to the team when required and taking ownership of any more complex cases/vehicle recoveries.
Line management of all Asset Management Admin Agents to include coaching, 121's mentoring and monitoring individual performance.
* Allocation and prioritisation of the team's workload to Agents on a daily basis, monitoring productivity and completion of the following tasks:
* Assignment of Recovery Agents
* Bookings of VTs with Partner
* Crushwatch assignments after reviewing the financial viability of collecting the asset.
* Processing Invoices, VCRs, Billings letters, Issuing IPQs.
* Allocation of all administrative duties in relation to taking receipt of, and disposing of assets in conjunction with our external partners including managing DVLA/Manufacturer communications relating to V5's/service history/cherished plates/MOT's/spare keys etc
* Key relationship manager for all of the Recovery Agent panel, including external partnership management.
* Responsible for the completion of reviews of Recovery Agent workloads and challenging where appropriate.
* Responsible for overseeing all correspondence relating to the Recovery, Sale and Final billing, so that the customer is kept fully informed through the process.
* Negotiating and authorizing of additional fees such as storage and repairs within set mandates. Being the final sign off for Asset Agents agreeing fees.
* Ownership of all HPI activity, allocating tasks and giving guidance to Asset Agents on any HPI queries
* Management of the NSL, NaVCIS, Crushwatch and IPQ database
* Ensuring that all compliance and SLA KPIs are met.
* Taking ownership of challenging or complex matters arising in the Asset Management space.
* Promote a supportive and team-based culture within the team, encouraging Team Members speak up and challenge where appropriate and being the focal point within the team.
* Continual evaluation of processes and procedures with a view to recommend improvements that will deliver efficiencies while ensuring that the best interests of the customer are maintained.
* Adhere to the FCA Conduct rules
* To adhere to Data Protection Act regulations always
* Deputise for the Asset Manager when require as well as act as an SME for the Asset Collection Agents
