Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

I'm actively recruiting on behalf of a Kent based client who are seeking a Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a Permanent basis.

Due to volume of work they require a Quantity Surveyor with a Contractor background and ideally previous experience working on Healthcare projects (although this isn't essential).

The ideal candidate will:

Have 5y experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within experience on both New Build & Fit Out projects
Have a relevant qualification
Be able to run their own projects working alongside an AQS
Come from a Contractor background
Strive to be the best in their field
Pay excellent attention to detail
Be able to demonstrate analytical thinking skills
Have the ability to use your initiative.Your general day to day duties will include:

Estimating costs, quantities, and project timelines
Working alongside and supporting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Providing all information to clients
Preparing tender and contract documents
Identifying and weighing up commercial risks
Liaising with a variety of other teams and helping to keep a project on track.
