School Support workers - Blackburn with Darwen

We are currently working with a Mainstream and SEN school in the Blackburn with Darwen area who are searching for School Support workers to start after May Half Term & September 2021. As an Inclusion Support Worker, you should show a real passion for supporting young children with various Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD). You will be able to demonstrate a level of resilience in work, be able to think on your feet and act/respond quickly to challenging behaviour, but most importantly be able to build meaningful and nurturing relationships with the students.

These schools support pupils of both Primary & Secondary ages and are looking for comitted and dedicated staff to join their schools.

You will be able to demonstrate and implement behaviour management techniques both inside the classroom and around the educational setting, to help promote learner growth and development throughout their school day within a safe and structure learning environment.

The position requires you to be experienced in supporting pupils or young adults with challenging behaviours. Depending on the role and your experiences, you could be working across a variety of educational settings such as Mainstream schools, SEN settings, PRU's, and Alternative Learning Provisions.
