Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
GBP41,500PA - GBP,44,000PA - moving upto GBP46,200 after probation.
Sunday to Thursday - 22:00 to 06:00 inclusive of a 30min paid break each night.

Due to huge expansion earlier in 2020, our client now requires a new shift with a Nightshift Maintenance Engineer to join their team already well established team.
The Role
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for all electrical and mechanical fault finding and reactive work on production systems site wide. This will include fault diagnosis on drive systems, motors, relays, contactors and sensors. You may also be responsible for some mechanical work including replacing gearboxes, shafts, pulleys and bearings.
You will be sole on your shift so you must be confident to fault find both mechanically and electrically to keep production running through the night.
Production equipment includes silos, mixers, process plant, conveyor systems, weighing machinery, canning lines and pumps.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
Must have previous experience working as an Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Ideally a recognised Apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3
The client is particularly keen to hear from anyone who has experience in the following:
ATEX or COMPEX qualification
Previous experience working within an explosive environment would be a huge advantage
Packaging or process control equipment
Training
As part of the induction, the successful Maintenance Engineer would receive fantastic initial training alongside a more Senior Engineer to fully understand the processes. There is also the opportunity for the successful Maintenance Engineer to receive ATEX training.
