Data Analyst - UK Health Sector - Beaconsfield - Circa GBP40,000
The Data Analyst will provide creation and delivery within the Data management
environment and expertise to deliver a complimentary and advantageous technology provision to
support the BI Analytical communities across the Group. Reporting to the Data & Quality Manager
the Data Analyst will provision suitable environments and relevant frameworks including the
provision of relevant data management environments supporting the operational & analytical
communities. You will work in partnership with our operational teams, senior leadership teams and
analytical communities in order to provide data management environments and frameworks which
supports the reporting and analytical demands. The Data Analyst will be actively involved in
seeking community feedback whilst proactively seeking ways to enhance the data provision and
tools
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
* Apply tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation supporting the BI
Analytical Community.
* Identify, collect and migrate data to and from a range of systems
* Manage, clean, abstract and aggregate data ready for the BI Community to utilise as part of
their processes
* Manipulate and link different data sets from source into appropriate Data Warehouses
* Develop records management processes and policies
* Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
* Set up and maintain automated data processes
* Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and
cleansing
* Produce and track key performance indicators
* Support the BI Analytical Community with the reporting processes specifically around
environment and data provision
* Monitor and audit data quality
* Identify, liaise and enable data fixes through appropriate frameworks in conjunction with
the Data & Quality Manager
* liaise with internal teams to fully understand data content
* Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools
and techniques

understand how to share insights with stakeholders.
* Data management. You understand data sources, data organisation and storage.
* Data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment skills. You understand
conceptual, logical and physical data modelling and can develop knowledge of data
cleansing and standardisation.
* Logical and creative thinking skills. You know how to respond to problems in
databases, data processes, data products and services as they occur. You can initiate
actions, monitor services and identify trends to resolve problems. You know how to
determine the appropriate remedy and can help to implement it as well as preventative
measures.
* Project management skills. You know how to work with stakeholders to gather
requirements and deliver findings.
* Quality assurance, validation and data linkage abilities. You know how to conduct
data quality assurance, validation and linkage
