Our client is a leading manufacturing business who are seeking a CNC Setter/Operator (Turning/lathes) to join the business. They specialise within Aeronautical & Energy components. CNC Setter/Operator (Turner)

To ensure continuity of production of quality parts ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
To ensure that quality, cost and delivery are continually improved.
To ensure that all work meets customer (internal and external) expectations on delivery and quality.
To be flexible and adaptable within work area.
To work with the Team Leader to obtain job assignments and ensure you have the necessary tooling and drawings.
To interpret drawings and process sheets to determine machining and set-up required.
To set up machines and inspect own and others work as required and to ensure the maintenance and improvement of quality standards.
To inspect dies to ensure required quality of forgings are produced.
To carry out die fitting and maintenance.
CNC Setter/Operator (Turning)
Experience Required

2-3 years' experience in setting & operating CNC Machines (turning)
Working in a manual/heavy industry/engineering environment.
Knowledge of safe working practices.
Knowledge & experience in Quality Systems & Procedures including SPC.

CNC Setter/Operator (Turning)
Educational Qualifications:

Apprenticeship within Engineering would be desired - HNC/HND or time served machinistShifts
3 Shift
Week 1:- 7am to 3pm,

Week 2: 3pm to 11pm

Week 3: 11pm to 7am - Monday to Friday

You may not always be required to be on a 3 shift pattern, there may be times when just days or afternoons are needed without nights etc
