Regional Sales Manager

Our client are possibly the largest surface repair specialists in the UK and are part of a major European group who are a market leader in property damage restoration serving a wide range of sectors including insurance, property management, government and industrial clients.
As a still growing business, they work with many of the major House Builders, Construction firms and Insurers to quickly repair on-site damages saving time, money and waste. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the Northern region that includes Merseyside, Cheshire, Manchester and all of Yorkshire up to the Northest so the M62 corridor would be a great location. The role will involve account managing a certain number of house builder accounts and working within the framework agreements set out. You will participate in quarterly meetings with each Regional Director and/or Commercial Manager to ensure regular face to face meetings and that all needs are being satisfied and maintained. There will be the need for a degree of new business prospecting so whilst strong account management skills are essential, you will also enjoy developing new business in the region. The business is highly supply chain led so you will need to be used to operating within structured perameters and have strong IT skills and used to producing Excel spreadsheets when required. You will have sold into house builders and developers and are comfortable operating at Director level. Your product or service background is unimportant as full training will be provided though you will have a track record in B2B sales and enjoy working in a structured manner.
