Junior Fee Earner / Property Conveyancing Junior
Location: Street, Somerset
Hours: Monday - Friday - 9am - 5pm
Salary: DOE
We have an incredible new opportunity for a bright, confident individual with exceptional communication skills and experience of working in a legal setting.
Our Conveyancing client is looking to expand their team and wish to provide an opportunity to a newly qualified conveyancing lawyer OR an experienced paralegal eager to progress their career. If unqualified but experienced within law, there is the opportunity to receive professional training and gain qualifications.
Working as a key part of an office in the Street area you will be charged with assisting existing clients initially, but ultimately you will be building your own case load to maximise your income and take control of your own clients.
This position will grow into a high pressure, exceptionally fast paced and challenging role, so you will need to be resilient, quick thinking and possess the ability to keep a level head under pressure.
Role responsibilities:
* Liaising with clients, local authorities, estate agents and other legal organisations through phone, email, post and face-2-face meetings
* Updating files and keeping accurate records
* Diary management
* Filing
* Research and development
* Building relationships
* Handle objections
Essential experience:
* 1 year with in a law office (preferably property Law)
* Dealing with clients face to face, over the phone and via email
* Knowledge of Conveyancing
Person specification:
* Highly organised
* Ambitious and committed
* Self-motivated
* Eager to learn
* Calm under pressure
* Driven and determined to succeed
* Handle objections in a professional and calm manner at all times
* Quick thinker
* Personable and able to win new business
You must have knowledge of Law to be considered, either from previous experience of working within a lawyers OR solicitors office OR have gained a qualification in Conveyancing Law in the last two years.
