HGV Class 2 Driver

Driver Hire Southend is looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to start working for our client on a temp to perm basis starting as soon as possible working out of Benfleet, delivering cardboard products mainly in the South East area.

Requirements:

* Multidrop experience (between 4 and 6 a day, sometimes 2 runs in one day)

* No points on licence - Will be considered if SP offences below 9 points

* Experience driving a 18 Tonne vehicle or higher

* Reliable and Hardworking

* An understanding of Drivers Hours and up to date CPC

* Must have a CAN DO attitude

Responsibilities:

* Completing drops in a safe manner, cleaning vehicle when needed

* Helping with planning and loading

* Interacting with Loading and Transport team daily

* Proving yourself to the Management team, turning up on time if not early, working in a H & S and Legal Driving Manner

Start times will range from between 5 and 6am, finishing between 12pm and 5pm (dependant on days work, work until deliveries are complete for the day). This is a Monday to Friday position - there is a possibility of working weekends.

Pay rates and hours for Class 2 Driver:

- 8 - 10 hours on average per shift

- GBP12 an hour PAYE plus holiday pay
