Lead Software Developer | Technical Lead | Lead C# Developer

(C#, .NET, WPF, WVVM, SQL Server, MVC, Developer, Software, Lead)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Software Developer with strong Microsoft skills (C#, .NET, WPF) to be able to join in well-established yet rapidly growing business and mature engineering team in South Yorkshire/Midlands.

As for the, client is a leading logistics company that has been exponentially growing over the last 5 years and from that has greatly extended its product range which include responsive online portals, finance visibility tools & automated banking integration for end customers, geo-location navigation systems, scanning solutions among more all written in C# .NET technology. Culturally the business, while well established, is open minded and keen to drive change in order to improve its technology road map.

Now for the role - we are looking to bring in a Lead Software Developer to assist technically & assist in leading the transformation of our clients monolithic c# estate to introduce new technology (.NET core, blazor, micro-services potentially), to assist in the coaching of the junior developers and to contribute to the future road map as well as contribute to the design elements of any new products

This really is an excellent opportunity for a Senior software engineer/senior developer/senior c# developer to gain exposure to operating within a lead role from a technical capacity, drive fundamental change and experiment with new technology with the view of implementation or for a lead developer/principal developer who has driven this change previously.

To break down the requirements in summary:

- Strong background in Microsoft technology (C#, .NET, .NET Core, WPF, Azure)
- Experience with DevOps toolng including TeamCity, Azure DevOps etc
- Experience in driving technical change within a business (ideally with experience tackling monolithic systems!)
- Experience taking a lead on projects.
